I taught myself to crochet last year so my first thought upon seeing this lovely scarf was "I can make that!" Well, I don't know if I can actually make it or not...but I'm going to have fun trying!! LOL I made my sister this scarf last year...
...so I should be able to figure that Ruche one out right?! I even love the yellow color of it. I'd also like to do a dark teal one. Do any of y'all crochet?? Isn't it just so much fun?? I can hardly ever find the time for it but when it's cold outside and I'm cozied up on the chair in front of the fire, crocheting just seems like the right thing to do! Haha. I'm so excited!!! I may have to start practicing my crochet skills. I haven't touched it in months!!
Okay, so who wants to tackle this scarf with me?! Any tips or patterns to share???
I have just posted a post about fall and a couple of things I'm going to add to my wardrobe today as well, lol! I was at the Patriots first pre-season game last night and I'm now looking forward to the weather changing as well. Have a great weekend, Amy!
ReplyDeleteMy cousin crochets and gave me a scarf for Christmas once. It never really gets that cold here but I'm with you---summer can't end fast enough for me! It's just too hot down here!

ReplyDeleteThat's a super cute scarf you made! Crocheting is easier than knitting, right? I've always wanted to learn to knit, my friend has knitted some great stuff. Maybe crocheting will be my fall project. Hmmm.... :)

I am a total summer lover, not just the weather but the whole state of mind, so I will be sad to see it go. But the best part of fall is the fashion undoubtedly! I love that adorrrrrrable scarf!

Love the scarf that you made! It looks fantastic. I tried crochet but it didn't feel right for me, I prefer to knit. But there seem to be a lot of patterns out for both knitting and crocheting- my goal this winter is to knit scarves as presents for some close friends!
