As if that wasn't exciting enough...it was on clearance for $49.00!!! I was jumping up and down. Inside of course. So the jewelry saleslady is helping this woman who wants to know the price of EVERY SINGLE piece of jewelry that TJ Maxx carries. I was close to screaming out HURRY UP BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE GETS IT! Which is ridiculous because there was no one else around but I didn't leave that spot regardless. 16 hours later, the lady wanders over nonchalantly and asks if she can help me. I'm like UM YES! She pulls out the magnificent watch and you can imagine my disappointment when I looked at it up close and realized the band had tons of deep scratches all over it and was starting to brown around the edges. I was heartbroken. I know it's just a watch but boy was I excited about it. The saleslady just put it back in the case and went on about her business not knowing or caring that she had just ruined my day! So, I did what any other heartbroken girl would do. I went straight to the shoes! Check out these great shoes I purchased to make myself feel better.
I looked around the clothes for a little while trying to find something to go with them but to no avail. Sometimes shopping at TJ Maxx is so exhausting! You have to go through a lot of hideous stuff to find one great thing. What do ya'll think would look cute with these shoes??
I love those shoes! Hmmm, what would go with them? A cute black dress. You could almost pull these off with black tights in the fall/winter. Love them! So sorry about the white watch. Keep looking, you'll find one soon. :)

ReplyDeleteRegarding the watch: don't you just hate it when something like that happens? TJ Maxx does have some great bargains, but it sometimes takes an age to look through all the rubbish to get to the gems!

Are those Madden girl shoes? I have them in fuchsia and wore them Easter Sunday. They are so cute and the best part, super comfy! I'm a Maxx fan myself, it's like going on a treasure hunt every time I go.
ReplyDeleteThat is so heartbreaking about the watch! I just hate when stuff like that happens. At least you scored the fab shoes though! I bet you find tons of stuff to wear them with since they are a lovely neutral. I adore TJ Maxx but I have to be in a hunting mood and have plenty of time when I go there because I literally search every single section and dig dig dig! But that's the best way to find treasures!

ReplyDeleteLOVE those shoes, I have them in black but the closed toe version, and wore them all winter. They are super comfy too! I got them @ Macy's...maybe if I check my TJ Maxx I'll find this peep toed pair!
