Why yes, it is a Good Friday!

Happy Good Friday darlings!! Here in North Carolina it is a beautiful day!! The sun is shining and it should be around 80 degrees when I get off work at lunchtime today. Easter is such a fun holiday to celebrate. The colors, the candy, beautiful dresses with matching hats, Easter bunnies and eggs. I love everything about it! Let's also not forget about the reason we are here and able to celebrate this holiday.

Jesus . . . said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. -John 19:30

This day, Good Friday, is one of the most important days for the Christian church. It was on this day that the perfect Son of God gave himself as sacrifice for all our sins. “It is finished!” he cried out. It was by his wounds that we are healed.

Jesus paid a debt he did not owe because we owed a debt we could not pay.



I wish everyone a happy, healthy and safe holiday! Doesn't this look like a marvelous way to spend Easter? I think so too.
