"They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." - Jeremiah 29:11
Happy New Year!!!!! I hope y'all had a fantastic New Year's and are all safe and sound! We had a fabulous time at the beach and I can't wait to share pictures. :)
I don't usually do New Year's resolutions...but this year just seemed like a good year for 'em! With so many changes going on in my life (and me being a crazy list maker), I thought I'd list them...mostly just to hold myself accountable. It helps. :)
1. Stay gluten-free!
2. Make straight A's in school and dedicate myself to learning as much as possible and graduating ASAP.
3. Stick to my recently formed budget.
4. Take my poor dog for a walk.
5. Don't take 3 month long breaks from my blog. I missed y'all!!!
6. Exercise at least 3 times per week.
7. Join in on Project 365 with Kit at A Step into My Life by taking one picture every day of the year! How fun will that be?! I hope I can remember to do it!
8. Take ballroom dancing lessons.

Okay well I think that's enough for one year don't you?
How cute is this quote I found?
A New Year's resolution is something that goes in one year and out the other. ~Author Unknown
Now I want to hear some of your resolutions!

Happy New Year! We missed you too! I can't wait to see your beach pictures. I didn't make any real resolutions but I did make up a big list of goals to accomplish. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your resolutions! I usually make them then never stick with them. So this year I'm making a goal for each month. Hopefully by the time 2012 rolls around I'll have completed 12 goals! :-)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year sweet lady!! Those resolutions seem very real & very do-able!! Good luck! =)

Great resolutions. I did project 365 a couple years ago and I am definitely going to start it again!

Haha, love that quote! I tried 365 last year and gave up in October when I got too far behind uploading pics. It takes discipline, but it's nice to be able to look back.
ReplyDeletenow thats a resolution list! Happy New year!
ReplyDeleteAwesome resolutions! We're planning to take ballroom dancing classes too! So fun--we'll have to compare notes ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm not a resolutions gal either, but yours do sound reasonable and doable! Good luck to you Amy and best wishes for 2011!
ReplyDeleteAlso loving the ballroom dancing lessons, so fun!
Hugs!
I'm not much of a resolutions girl either, but your resolutions are definitely doable! Good luck with them!
ReplyDeleteThat is one of my fav scriptures, I have it on my sidebar! Love your resolutions, I need to walk my pups more often too! Happy New Year doll! xo
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you had a nice New Year's. Wishing you all the best in 2011.
ReplyDeleteResolutions...I had one and already blew it! I think I'll stick with small goals.
Good luck on yours. I'm back in full GF mode. Stomach is already thanking me. :)
Happy New Year, Amy Cupcake!
ReplyDeleteI once attempted the 365 project, but I just couldn't fit it into my every day life so I gave up after six weeks or so; I'm sure you'll be much more successful than I was!
Great resolutions!! Happy New Year!!!
