I hope y'all all had a fabulous Christmas and that you got everything you wanted! I definitely did. Everything I wanted and more. We even got about 5 inches of snow!! It was our first white Christmas! I swear though...snow just isn't as great as it used to be when it got us out of school. Now we have to worry about driving in it and getting to work or wherever. It's still beautiful to look at though. :)
I also made some AMAZING (if I do say so myself) eggnog cupcakes!!! I was worried that they wouldn't taste eggnog-y enough but they absolutely did. YUM! I wish I had some left.... Speaking of sweets....OH MY GEEZ I have eaten like a total piglet lately. It seems like when it gets near the holidays, I tend to go all out and use that as an excuse. I'm definitely feeling the after effects and I must calm down now. No more cookies for breakfast...boo.
See more on my cupcake page!! Sweet! Cupcakes & More
Still on the subject of sweet...look at this beautiful pearl necklace my sweet husband got me! I just LOVE when he actually picks stuff out himself. He always does such a good job. :)
And while I love me some material things...we must all remember that we are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ who was born to free us of our sins! Where would we be without Him???
Now tell me all about y'alls Christmas!! What'd ya get...where'd ya go??
Sounds like a fun Christmas! Your necklace is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe had a low key Christmas...like so many people it seems....so we didnt do much in the way of presents.
GIRL! Loving the necklace! It is beautiful and he did such a great job. Kudos to the hubby! Is it bad that after all the sweets I consumed over Christmas I still want that cupcake! Going to go check it out on your cupcake page now! I had a great christmas and got more than I imagined! Including a new black kitchenaide stand mixer! I can't wait to make soemthing in it! What should i make? Any ideas! Love ya
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous that you guys got snow. We had it in our forecast and it dusted some, but nothing stuck. That necklace is gorgeous! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteSnow really is so much better when you're a child and have no worried about getting to work etc, isn't it? What did I get for Christmas? The flu. Urgh, lol!
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas! Your necklace is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOooooh girlfriend I looove your necklace AND looks like you had a white Christmas as well!! Its been nice for Christmas, but now that Christmas is over --- I want it to go bye-bye!! haha. You had asked about the Versaspa, do you all have a Sun Tan City in your town? You can have it done there!! It is a spray tan booth that you get inside and a booth sprays you! Its awesome, about $30 a visit and it lasts for up to 7-10 days AND looks like a HEALTHY tan, no Ooompah Loompah! I've done it twice!!
ReplyDeleteThat snow looks gorgeous but I'm SO glad that we didn't get any!!! LOVE your necklace, it's beautiful! :-)
ReplyDeleteWow -- I've NEVER seen snow like that. The most we've ever gotten here is like 2 inches (but that's definitely out of the ordinary). I think it would be so cool to have that. I love the necklace!! Wow, those eggnog cupcakes look amazing. I just got two comments tonight on my blog about how someone needs to sponsor a cupcake giveaway for me because I'm always talking about them and eating them. Do you ship?! lol! Speaking of cupcakes... I am so with you on being a piglet! Me and the hubby have been saying we feel so lethargic because of how poor we're eating. Oh well, January's only three days away!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous necklace! Your husband did a good job!!! I love your White Christmas photos. It's been years and I mean YEARS since I've been in the snow. Thanks for sharing! This is definitely on my list :)
