Happy Friday!!!!!! Now that school has started I'm even more happier about weekends!! For some crazy reason my husband and my brother have convinced me to go camping this weekend. Chocolate Covered Cherry Cupcakes

YUMMMM right????? Well I wouldn't know as I didn't make them gluten free...but I was told that they were absolute deliciousness. :)


These were for a baby shower and I pretty much just made this up as I went along...hahaha. I made a chocolate cupcake...then I filled it with a chocolate covered cherry type filling and a maraschino cherry...then I topped it with cherry buttercream!

what i'm loving wednesday!

Happy hump day!!!!! (i hate when people say that) Sorry I've been MIA this week. This is my first week of school and I'm trying to get into the swing of things!! It's going pretty well so far. I've got pretty easy classes this semester so it shouldn't be too bad. I hope y'all are all doing well!!

So on this edition of What I'm Loving Wednesday...I'm pretty much just going to toot my own horn. It consists of everything I've made in the last 2 weeks. Ya gotta pat yourself on the back every now and then right?? ;)

I am loving... the shadow box I made for a friend's baby shower. I saw a similar one in a magazine last year and I really wanted to make one but never got around to it. Well the other day while I was in the craft store I was in a creative mood and started grabbing supplies. Here's the finished product!! :)

That's candy pearls in the bottom...I guess that's okay right?? LOL

I am loving... the ribbon holder I made with extra supplies from the shadow box. Ain't it precious?? I remember when my best friend had her shower last year she received TONS of little bows and had nowhere to put them. We concocted a bow holder much like this one so I knew this girl would love one too!

I am loving... the gift bag I decided to make to bring her presents to the shower in. I just got some iron on letters and an iron on sheet of polka dot paper. I traced a butterfly (her baby's room theme) onto the iron on sheet, cut it out and ironed everything onto a bag I bought! I tied the tops with leftover ribbon from the shadow box. (I used my materials wisely huh?? Hahaha)

I am loving... the little t-shirt I made for my favorite 12 month old in the whole world!! Her birthday party was last month and it was owl themed so I traced out an owl on the same iron on paper and ironed it on a little shirt with her name!

LOVE HER! :)

Fashion Inspiration: Taylor Swift

Okay, so Taylor Swift is pretty much everything I'm not...tall, skinny, blonde, rich...but that doesn't stop me from adoring her fashion choices. I've seen so many pictures of Taylor's outfits lately that I absolutely LOVE and I thought I'd share some of them with y'all...

It's been quite a while since I've done a giveaway and I do believe y'all deserve one!!

A couple of weeks ago I attended my first Premier Designs party. Have y'all ever been to one or seen their jewelry?? I wasn't expecting much...but the minute I saw the beautiful jewelry I was in LOVE! The best thing about their jewelry is how you can change the necklaces around and get about 10 designs out of them! You can add things, twist them, clip them...etc. Of course I hosted my own party the next week and it was so much fun!
